1. Welcome to AuthClass!
1.1 Introduction:
Legit App Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides online luxury authentication training courses, quizzes, exams, certificate services, and related digital materials through our website located at authclass.com (the “Site”) and all associated services (collectively, the “Services”), subject to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). By accessing, registering for, or purchasing any of our Services, you (“User,” “buyer,” or “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
1.2 Company Entity & Jurisdiction:
The Services are owned, operated, and provided by Legit App Limited, a company incorporated and registered under the laws of Hong Kong. All references to "LegitApp" in these Terms or on the Site refer to the operations of Legit App Limited.
1.3 Modifications to Terms:
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will indicate the date of last revision. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
1.4 Privacy:
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to our collection, use, and processing of personal data as described therein.
2. Course Access & License
2.1 Limited License:
Upon payment of the applicable fees to purchase access rights to a course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and stream the course content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use. You agree not to use the Services for any public screening, commercial broadcasting, or unauthorized group viewing.
2.2 Account Credentials & Security:
You must register an account to access the courses. You represent that your registration information is true, accurate, and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password) and for all activities under your account. You may never share your login credentials or allow third parties to access your account. We reserve the right to monitor account usage (including concurrent logins and IP access logs) and suspend or terminate your account without refund if credential sharing or unauthorized multi-user access is suspected.
2.3 Access Period:
Course access is granted for the specific duration indicated at the time of purchase or as determined by the Company. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any course, lesson, quiz, or exam, or to terminate access to the Services, at our sole discretion.
3. Intellectual Property Protection
3.1 Exclusive Proprietary Rights:
All course materials, including but not limited to videos, audio lectures, slides, text, images, graphics, quizzes, exam questions, exam answers, certificates, logos, and proprietary authentication methodologies, are the exclusive intellectual property of Legit App Limited. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Company.
3.2 Strict Anti-Piracy and Copying Rules:
You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, downloading (unless explicitly permitted in writing), recording, capturing (including via screen recording, video capture, or audio recording software), distributing, publishing, transmitting, reselling, or commercially exploiting any course materials. Any unauthorized duplication or distribution of our content is a severe violation of our intellectual property rights and will lead to immediate termination of your account, permanent revocation of any issued certificates, and legal action for copyright infringement and breach of contract, without any refund.
4. Fees, Payments, and No-Refund Policy
4.1 Fees and Payment:
Fees for course access are indicated on the Site. You agree to pay all fees in full at the time of purchase. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. All transaction and processing details are handled securely by our third-party payment processors (such as Stripe).
4.2 Strictly No Refunds:
Since access to our proprietary educational content, videos, and exams is granted immediately upon successful payment, **all sales are final and strictly non-refundable**. We will not issue refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, failure to complete the courses, dissatisfaction with course difficulty, or failure to pass the exams. We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or refuse any purchase order at our sole discretion.
5. Academic Integrity, Quizzes, and Exams
5.1 Examination Requirements:
To complete a course and qualify for a physical certificate, you must watch all lessons and personally take and pass the required quizzes and exams according to our passing criteria.
5.2 Strict Academic Integrity Policy:
You must complete all quizzes and exams personally, using only your own knowledge. You are strictly prohibited from:
- Cheating, collaborating with others, or using unauthorized third-party aids during exams;
- Sharing, publishing, posting, or distributing exam questions, answers, or quiz content to third parties, online forums, social media, or other communication channels;
- Allowing another person to log in to your account and take the quizzes or exams on your behalf.
6. Physical Certificates and Delivery Terms
6.1 Issuance Criteria:
A physical certificate of completion will only be issued and mailed to you if you have successfully met all course requirements and achieved a passing score on the final exam. We do not issue certificates based on course enrollment or participation alone.
6.2 Shipping Details:
You are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and valid physical shipping address (and phone number) for certificate delivery. We are not responsible or liable for any delivery failures, return of packages, or lost shipments resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details provided by you.
6.3 Delivery Disclaimer:
Certificates are shipped via third-party courier services or postal carriers. Legit App Limited is not liable for any courier delays, postal damage, package loss, customs holds, or shipping failures caused by the carrier, local postal service, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
6.4 Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
For international shipments, your package may be subject to import duties, local taxes, customs clearance fees, or administrative charges imposed by the destination country. **All such duties, taxes, and fees are the sole responsibility of the user/buyer**. Legit App Limited has no control over these charges and will not pay or reimburse any customs-related costs.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties
7.1 Educational Purpose Only:
The Services, courses, exams, and certificates are provided strictly for educational and training purposes. The information, opinions, and guidelines taught in our courses represent the professional views of our instructors, based on historical and hands-on experience, but do not represent an absolute or infallible standard.
7.2 No Licensing or Qualification Guarantee:
AuthClass is an educational platform. Passing our courses or obtaining a certificate of completion does not grant you a government license, official appraiser status, or legally recognized professional credentials. We do not warrant or guarantee that the certificate will be recognized or accepted by any third-party employer, marketplace, insurance company, or government agency.
7.3 No Warranty on Future Authentication Accuracy:
Legit App Limited makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees that taking our courses will make you an infallible luxury goods authenticator, or that your future authentication opinions will be correct. Luxury goods manufacturing standards change, and counterfeiting techniques continuously evolve. **All Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied**.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
8.1 No Liability for User Authentication Activities:
**Legit App Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall in no event be held liable for any authentication opinions, appraisement decisions, transactions, purchases, or services that you perform or participate in after completing our courses**. If you authenticate a counterfeit item as genuine, or a genuine item as counterfeit, resulting in financial loss, legal disputes, reputational damage, or any other liability to you or any third party, you acknowledge and agree that Legit App Limited bears zero responsibility or liability.
8.2 Exclusion of Damages:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Legit App Limited be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, or reputational damage, arising out of or related to the Services, these Terms, or your use of the course materials, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8.3 Maximum Liability Cap:
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims, losses, or causes of action arising under or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to Legit App Limited for the specific course package that is the subject of the claim.
8.4 Indemnification:
You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Legit App Limited, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your breach or violation of these Terms;
- Your access to or use of the Services;
- Your academic misconduct or cheating;
- Any authentication assessments, appraisals, transactions, sales, or business services you conduct for third parties, regardless of whether you utilized the knowledge or certificate gained from AuthClass.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your account, invalidate your exam results, revoke your certificate, and bar your access to the Services if we believe you have breached these Terms (including but not limited to sharing account access, copying/recording materials, cheating on exams, or engaging in fraudulent activity). In the event of such termination, you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation, and any licenses granted to you will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law:
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10.2 Mandatory Arbitration:
Any dispute, controversy, difference, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination thereof, or any dispute regarding non-contractual obligations arising out of or relating to it, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force when the Notice of Arbitration is submitted.
- The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong.
- The number of arbitrators shall be one.
- The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.
11. General Provisions
11.1 Entire Agreement:
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Legit App Limited regarding your use of the Services, superseding any prior agreements or representations.
11.2 Severability & Waiver:
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term.
11.3 Assignment:
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time without restriction or notice.
